Thanks, Matt. I had a run of screenprinting earlier this year and really enjoyed myself. Great to see some great stuff on your blog too! Looking forward to seeing more in September.

Ah, well. Falkirk. In April there was a fantastic exhibition of illustrators who had illustrated Julia Donaldson books, curated by Julia herself, in the amazingly beautiful Callendar House. I had some work in the exhibition, and was lucky enough to give a couple of talks about illsutrating while I was up there, one to students in Falkirk, and another to members of the public in Callendar House. The latter was an amazing venue - a high ceilinged room with chandeliers and long tables to an audience who drank tea and nibbled scones as I talked. It was brilliant. And the train journey up there and back was a great chance to work on ideas...hence the Falkirk pages.
